Ai has been rapidly developing and it is now making its way into the industry, with the recent controversial tracks by Fenix Felxin and Tyga, They had released a bunch of tracks with ai tools and tried to pass them off as original tracks, but they were ai generated.

But this is just the beginning of Ai entering the industry, Suno ai and Treblo are easy to use and take minutes to make a song, you just tell them what style you want and then click a button and it makes the song.
when it comes to statistics they are something along the lines of 44 percent of music being uploaded onto spotify is Ai, but the only good news is that starting this month, Spotify are going to remove and stop ai generated content from generating revenue.

But this is not the end of it by any means, lots of artists using ai are still getting lots of traffic on other platforms such as Youtube, I know someone who uploaded some ai tracks to Tik Tok got a few hundred thousands views and had Sony Records knocking at their door, showing interest. That is right Sony Records, just from posting some Ai tracks which went viral.
The technology is only going to improve and get better and I am sure huge record labels will work on their own Ai or have a tech company make one for them, which will generate tracks and cut out the writers. You would never know that the song was written by Ai if it is recreated with real musicians. What they can do now is instead of having, lets say Beyonce and 5 other writers make a track you can just have Ai make the track, musicians re record it and she sings over it. No one will know and now you dont need to pay 5 writers, as your ai just makes songs and you dont need to give it any royalties or writing credits. More money for record label. This is my guess on what will happen going forward with the technology.
